These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MEHOD, also known as "Meh or Desire", available at mehod.com and any related sub-domains, applications and services (together, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. The Platform is a work of fiction

1.1 MEHOD is an entertainment and imagination platform. Everything on it is fictional.

1.2 No real money. MEH$ (also written "M$") is a fictional, non-redeemable, valueless in-app score. MEH$ cannot be bought, sold, exchanged, cashed out, transferred off-Platform, gifted for consideration, or converted into money, cryptocurrency, credit, goods or services of any kind. MEH$ has no monetary value, is not e-money, is not a security, is not a payment instrument, and confers no property rights.

1.3 No payments. The Platform never requests, collects or processes payment card details or any other payment instrument. No purchase is ever required and no charge will ever be made to you. If anyone asks you to pay money in connection with MEHOD, it is not us — do not pay, and report it to us immediately.

1.4 No products, no delivery. Items shown on the Platform are fictional catalogue entries created for imaginative play. Nothing is manufactured, stocked, reserved, sold, shipped or delivered. "Buy", "purchase", "cart", "bag", "checkout", "own", "collect", "sell", "refund", "stock", "flash sale", "market", "trade" and similar words are used in a purely fictional, game sense and create no contract of sale, no consumer sale, and no entitlement to any physical or digital product.

1.5 No financial advice. Simulated markets, price movements, "spikes", leaderboards and any figures shown are fictional or illustrative and must not be relied upon as financial, investment, tax or trading advice. Past simulated performance means nothing.

1.6 No gambling. Spins, mystery boxes, games and rewards involve no consideration and no prize of value. They are free entertainment features awarding valueless fictional score only.

1.7 Simulated members. Some accounts, activity, reviews and statistics on the Platform may be generated automatically to make the world feel alive. Do not treat any profile, review, rating, ranking or activity notice as a statement of fact about a real person.

2. Eligibility and accounts

2.1 You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, if higher) to create an account.

2.2 You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in link or credentials secure.

2.3 One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Accounts, balances, items, badges, levels and rankings are personal to you, are licensed not owned, and may not be sold, rented, traded or transferred.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • scrape, crawl, harvest, mirror, frame, index at scale, or use bots, scripts or automated

means to access the Platform or its content without our prior written permission;

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, data models, pricing logic,

reward weightings or algorithms;

  • exploit bugs, manipulate balances, scores, markets, rankings or rewards, or use multiple

accounts to gain advantage;

  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexual,

violent, deceptive, malicious, or that impersonates a brand or person;

  • upload images or text you do not have the rights to use;
  • suggest that a real brand, retailer, designer or person endorses, sponsors or supplies the

Platform;

  • interfere with, overload or probe the Platform's security or infrastructure;
  • use the Platform for advertising, spam, phishing, or any commercial purpose.

We may monitor usage, apply rate limits, flag or block automated access, and suspend, restrict, reset or delete any account, content, balance or item at our sole discretion, with or without notice, and without liability.

4. Intellectual property and copyright

4.1 Ownership. The Platform and all of its contents — including the names "MEHOD", "Meh or Desire", "MEH$", the MEHOD logos, wordmarks, look and feel, design system, user interface, layout, copy, taxonomy, catalogue structure, categorisation, SKU schema, reward mechanics, game rules, badge system, level system, code, databases, compilations and all other materials — are owned by the operator of MEHOD ("we", "us", the "Owner") or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, database rights, trade mark rights, design rights and other intellectual property laws worldwide. © MEHOD — Meh or Desire. 4.2 Trade marks. "MEHOD" and "Meh or Desire" and the MEHOD marks and logos are trade marks of the Owner. You may not use them without our prior written consent, including in domain names, handles, app names, metadata, keyword advertising or merchandise.

4.3 Limited licence to you. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Platform for private, non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. No right is granted to copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, adapt, translate, data-mine, text-mine, or use any part of the Platform or its content to train, fine-tune, evaluate or ground any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence system, without our prior written permission.

4.4 Watermarking and provenance. Images served by the Platform may carry visible or invisible watermarks and provenance markers identifying MEHOD. Removing, obscuring or altering them is prohibited.

4.5 Your content. You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sub-licensable, transferable, perpetual and irrevocable licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, resize, watermark, publish, display and distribute that content on and in connection with the Platform and its promotion. You warrant that you own or control all rights in it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or any law. We may moderate, categorise, edit, refuse or remove any content at any time.

4.6 Third-party names. Where a real brand, product or person is referred to by a user, it is nominative reference only. We claim no affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship or partnership. Rights holders may contact us to request removal (see clause 10).

5. Fictional balances and resets

Balances, items, generators, boxes, badges, streaks, levels, market positions and rankings may be adjusted, recalculated, expired, capped or reset at any time — including to fix exploits, bugs, imbalance or abuse. Because these have no monetary value, no refund, compensation or damages of any kind are payable for any change, loss, reset or deletion.

6. Availability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that any data, ranking or figure is accurate. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature, or the whole Platform, at any time without notice or liability.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions, representations and terms, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Owner, its founders, officers, employees, contractors, agents and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunity or fictional balance, however arising.

8.2 Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (£100) — reflecting that the Platform is free and no payment is ever made by you.

8.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Owner and its personnel from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

10. Copyright complaints and takedowns

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, contact us through the in-app support desk with: your contact details, identification of the work, the exact location of the material, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised, and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act. We will review and, where appropriate, remove the material.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Platform. Clauses 1, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13 survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version published on the Platform is the version in force. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

14. General

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform. You may not assign your rights; we may assign ours.
